We can’t see your screen.

The stream is encrypted end to end, between your devices. When a direct path isn’t possible, our relay passes it along. It handles noise, never your screen.

What do I need?

The Gatereach app on the Mac you want to reach, and on your iPhone, iPad or other Mac. Nothing else to install: no VPN, no helpers.

Where is it hosted?

Hosted in the EU. Our servers are in Germany: this website and the sign-up run with Hetzner in Germany, and our email goes out through Microsoft in Ireland. The Gatereach relay is planned in Germany too.

My AI app already lets me work remotely. Why would I need Gatereach?

A remote mode inside an app reaches what that app can do. Real work often needs the whole computer: approving a permission or security prompt, changing a setting only the desktop can change, running a deploy with the keys and tools on your Mac, signing in to a website in your Mac’s browser, where your logins and two-factor sessions are, or opening the file the agent just made. Gatereach is designed to give you your whole Mac, so nothing waits until you’re back at your desk. Use both: your AI tools for the work, Gatereach for the machine they run on.

Can you see my screen?

No. The stream is end-to-end encrypted. Our relay passes it through when a direct connection isn’t possible, and it cannot see your screen.

How does setup work?

You pair your devices once, at home. After that it works from anywhere, directly or through our relay.

Who can open a connection?

Only you. Face ID confirms every remote connection.
