Who is responsible

What this site does not do

No cookies, no analytics or tracking, no advertising. No third-party fonts, scripts or embeds: everything on this site loads from gatereach.com.

The waitlist

If you sign up, we process:

• your email address;
• the text and version of the consent you gave, and the time you gave it;
• a salted hash of your IP address at sign-up and at confirmation (not the address itself);
• the language of the page (English or German).

Purpose: to email you when Gatereach is ready. Nothing else.

Legal basis: your consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, with double opt-in: we send one email with a confirmation link, and only a confirmed address is put on the list.

How long: sign-ups that are not confirmed are deleted after 30 days. Confirmed addresses are kept until you unsubscribe or withdraw your consent. After that we keep only a minimal record that this address must not be emailed again.

Server logs

Our web server records technical access data: time, IP address, the address requested, status, size and the browser’s identification (user agent). Tokens in confirmation and unsubscribe links are removed from the log, and the referring page is not logged. We need this for operations and security (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The logs are kept short-term and are overwritten automatically.

Hosted in the EU

This website, the waitlist and our email run on infrastructure in the EU. Our servers are in Germany (Hetzner); email is sent through Microsoft 365 by Microsoft Ireland. The Gatereach relay service is planned in Germany as well.

Processors

• Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany: hosting, on servers in Germany.
• Microsoft (Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd., Dublin): sending the emails, through Microsoft 365.

Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object (Art. 21). You can withdraw your consent at any time, with effect for the future: use the unsubscribe link in any of our emails, or write to office@sharobella.com.

You can also complain to the Austrian data protection authority: Österreichische Datenschutzbehörde, Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Wien, dsb.gv.at.
